Amenity is pioneering a new skin care segment called “Clinical Grooming™” that, for the first time, provides men with solution-focused, physician-developed products made specifically to address their unique skin concerns and to fit into their daily routines.

CLINICAL GROOMING™
Amenity is the first line to bridge the two fastest growing “cosmetic” categories – men’s grooming and doctor-developed products (hot in the women’s market for some time) to create a brand new market segment – Clinical Grooming™. Until now, the majority of men’s grooming brands have featured formulations created for women and packaged in masculine components and/or “fluffy” often-overly scented, feel-good products. Meanwhile hard research and customer feedback clearly show that what men want (and are willing to pay more for) are science based products, created for them, that truly perform.

Amenity founder and Babson MBA grad, Dwight Schultheis, recognized this need and sought to fill it, joining forces with a 10-year veteran of the clinical skin care mammoth, Peter Thomas Roth, Kimberly Pecoraro, and Lisa Lehan, formerly of Revlon and Peter Thomas Roth, to create Clinical Grooming™ and the new era of Amenity.

PRO-FORM 6™
Men’s skin is different than women’s – thicker and oilier. Prone to red blotches, acne, dryness, irritation, razor bumps and ingrown hairs that can be caused by daily shaving, men’s skin care problems are different too. Now, Amenity introduces PRO-FORM 6™, the first ever patent-pending, all-in-one solution for men’s skin. Through extensive market research, the Amenity team collected a list of over 100 male grooming grievances. They distilled those to the six most common complaints and then set a team of leading chemists and doctors to the task of developing an ingredient complex that would work to combat each. They came up with the revolutionary and power-packed PRO-FORM 6™, featuring:

THE AMENITY AUTHORITY™
The first men’s brand ever to employ this level of expertise, Amenity is committed to developing all products in consultation with a group of medical and scientific experts referred to as The Amenity Authority™. Members of The Amenity Authority™ will shift as appropriate to the product being developed. For instance, while the brand’s three daily products were created in consultation with a panel of leading plastic surgeons, dermatologists and biochemists, experts in other disciplines such as sports medicine and nutrition have been called upon for the development of future products.

unique ingredients/highly natural – The ingredients in Amenity’s patent-pending PRO-FORM 6™ complex work individually and synergistically to target all of men’s most pressing skin care problems. For instance, the Gel Face Cleanser not only cleans but leaves behind beneficial, beard softening ingredients to help with shaving; the After Shave & Face Moisturizer serves two functions in one and every product works to provide the anti-aging benefits that all men want but don’t want to have to do anything to get.

smart packaging – Amenity’s technologically advanced packaging works with how men really live and use products. No need to wonder how much to use, the dispensers release a metered dosage. No worry of contamination or a decrease in product efficacy due to oxidation from products being left open; specially designed- for-men, airless components keep the product pristine. No danger of in-shower breakage, packaging is made from PET plastic and is shatterproof. No constantly running for refills, products are designed to last 60-90 days, and no fear of gym-bag disasters, components are portable with locking closures.
