Don't shave with soap

Don't shave with soap

Soaps are responsible for leaving your skin very dry and offer no substantive protection from the razor blade. They wipe off all traces of oil from your skin. If you have a dry skin you probably already know about the laundry list of adverse effects.

When you choose a shave cream, you want good lubricity to avoid nicks and scraps, a moisturising formula to soothe your skin (most that say they are actually aren't — so look for liposomal vitamins which are the only ones that can absorb into you skin in the short amount of time shave cream is on your face), and one that's good for the environment (i.e., no pressurised cans).

Bottom line on why you should do this:
Because every guy can use a little lubricity now and then.
